Another busy weekend with the Super Bowl and the NAACP Image Awards and we’ve got some behind the scenes action from both. Plus the usual array of set photos including Jane the Virgin, Inside Amy Schumer and The Good Wife.
A Friday Night Lights reunion at the Super Bowl on Sunday gave me plenty to cheer about. There’s also a much bigger version of this meet-up taking place at this year’s ATX Television Festival and if I didn’t have a wedding to pay for I would be there in a flash.
A shot of these three fabulous women came up on TV and I maybe full on yelled in delight (the only things to get a strong reaction like this on Sunday were Beyoncé and the big Good Wife news – this was a mix of sadness/about time).

Beyoncé slayed both during the halftime show with her new song “Formation” and when she unleashed the song/video on the world the day before. There are so many incredible photos (mostly from the dress rehearsal) on Beyoncé’s Instagram and I really love this close up shot of her backup dancers and their fishnets, leather skirts and Doc Marten ankle boots (you need a good solid heel to perform those kind of routines on grass). Not only did Kerry Washington get to hang out with Viola Davis on the red carpet at the NAACP Image Awards, but she also had an excellent seating neighbor.
Kerry Washington is also keeping it in the TV family with some of the Scandal cast.
Backstage NAACP Image Awards shenanigans from Gina Rodriguez and Keegan-Michael Key. Now all I want is for Key to guest star on Jane the Virgin.
Speaking of which – here is a current Jane the Virgin guest star heating things up on the show. I totally get Gina Rodriguez’s face in this picture.
Jane the Virgin is on fire right now and I love what they are doing with Petra this season. Hopefully this is an indication that we will get to see some Petra/Rogelio action in the not too distant future.
OITNB hangouts and Danielle Brooks’ scarf got me feeling all the warm and fuzzy things.
Everything about this from the mustache to the sweater makes me so happy. This one is also excellent.
Kristen Wiig and Justin Theroux are killing it on the Zoolander 2 press tour and even if I am not really bothered about the movie I am very much enjoying their involvement.
Cush Jumbo has been one of the consistently brilliant things about this (final) Good Wife season and costume designer Daniel Lawson continues to deliver on the fantastic prints. Looking forward to seeing this in one of the final nine episodes.
This is all kinds of adorable. Plus bonus grizzly beard points for Mark Duplass AND I just remembered that Togetherness is back very soon (Katie Aselton will also be recurring!).
Set life can be very dangerous even when hanging out in your trailer, as Billy Eichner found out this week. Super scary stuff.

My ‘To Read’ pile is already at a ridiculous height, but I can’t resist a good book rec. Plus Mindy’s sweater (another thing I don’t really need more of) is calling out to me.
Kroll Show might be over (*sob*), but thankfully there are still plenty of reminders everywhere.
One of the most discussed episodes of this TV season has been Louie’s “So Did the Fat Lady” and while I haven’t seen the actual episode yet (I know, it’s still sitting on my DVR) I have read a lot of the discourse surrounding it, so hearing Sarah Baker talking about the auditioning and filming process, as well as her general experience is really fascinating. Yes, I need to watch this episode.
