Behind the Insta-Scenes: Photos from the Set

16 Sep

As with the majority Behind the Insta Scenes posts this one could be renamed “Ladies We Love” and this has been a very busy week for offset antics from award shows to NYFW. Don’t worry we still have plenty of fall shows to countdown to, celebrate the return of and some that are even further away.

@teenvogue !

A post shared by Kiernan Shipka (@kiernanshipka) on

Kiernan Shipka delivers her best Sally Draper pensive stare and an impression of what this character might have looked like if we’d got to see Mad Men in the late 70s. Or rather she is giving good fierce face for Teen Vogue.

Another excellent face giver is Mae Whitman with a closer look at her super long lashes and red lip color from the Creative Arts Emmys. Still one of my favorite dresses from the many dresses we have talked about this week.

Getting ready for 8am interviews #roomthemovie #tiff

A post shared by Brie (@brielarson) on

Brie Larson delivers an accurate representation of what 8 am feels like when you have to talk to people and a red lipstick I would very much like to know the brand/shade of.

The Mindy Project is back and the first episode of season 4 is available to stream on Hulu. Mindy Kaling’s new book Why Not Me? is also out today and this very packed schedule means all the amazing outfits. Here is a sneak peek at what Mindy has in store.

And this is an instant favorite.

More Venice Film Festival boat shots. Just because.

Happy 30th Birthday Elle! Lots of stars posted their covers on Instagram under #Elleat30, but (and this will come as no shock) I particularly like Diane Kruger’s celebratory remarks.

Elisabeth Moss does the Toronto Film Festival right and in a fantastic outfit to boot.

#NYFW x #OITNB (new nudes for fall)

A post shared by Danielle Brooks (@daniebb3) on

A lot of the Orange is the New Black cast have attended fashion week and are also in stunning new campaigns, but this is how they do NYFW when in costume. Danielle Brooks is working it.

Not alone in posing up a storm and Gina Rodriguez is showing off the new season 2 artwork. Not long to go until we find out what happens to baby Mateo.

Team Empire group selfie alert from their season 2 premiere event at Carnegie Hall on Saturday.

More selfies en masse and how else can you commemorate the first day of shooting a new show? Legends of Tomorrow won’t debut until next year, but I’m sure there will be plenty of onset photos and Flash/Arrow appearances before then.
