Before the domination of Comic-Con panel and party pictures we’ve got a mix of magazine editorials, fashion week styling and a hair conspiracy that could eclipse Felicity.
Mesmerized by this stunning shot of Gillian Anderson from W Magazine’s Pop Issue and we are so lucky to have this much Anderson on TV right now. From her current role as Bedelia on Hannibal to the forthcoming final season of The Fall AND the all important/super exciting X-Files revival. The latter unleashed its first bit of new footage this week and even though it was only a couple of seconds long the sight of Mulder and Scully with their guns and flashlights drawn full on made me yelp with joy.

Mindy Kaling looking fierce as fuck also from the Pop Issue of W Magazine as she looks ready to steal your heart and a 1930s gangster’s mind. That or she is rivaling everything Blake Lively from the New Year’s scenes in Age of Adaline (a movie I somehow liked enough to see twice).
Covering this month’s issue of Flare is Kate Mara and they have styled her in whole array of dreamy and romantic outfits including this stunning Preen by Thornton Bregazzi top. It’s all very delicate, lovely and on occasion over the top, which is delightful as is her choppy auburn bob.
Showing how to simple and effective chic at the Dior show during Paris Couture Fashion Week is Lupita Nyong’o wearing a summery short red frock. Excellent sunglasses choice adds an extra pop.
Switching out her signature Game of Thrones costume color is Carice van Houten at the Schiaparelli Show with director/partner Kees van Nieuwkerk. Somehow van Houten is getting away with wearing all that matching pink without it becoming sickly sweet or too matchy matchy; as far as I can tell she avoided all Jon Snow related questions at this Paris Couture Fashion Week show showing just how magical she truly is.
Speaking of which and here is your SPOILER WARNING as when Kit Harington attended Wimbledon at the end of last week it set the internet on fire because he clearly has not had the haircut which was suggested after the Game of Thrones season 5 finale. Vanity Fair’s Jo Robinson has been on #KitHaringtonHairWatch pretty much straight out the gate and he’s clearly not got rid of his Jon Snow curls just yet.
Yes he could be holding onto them as a way of not letting go, but it is more likely due to his lack of wig clause in his contract (Natalie Dormer’s comment on this still makes me laugh). And rather than being a hiatus beard as you see a lot of actors growing this is a Jon Snow amount of facial hair. Regardless of the levels of hair chat that rivals Keri Russell in the fall of 1999, Harington does scrub up well for Wimbledon.
